Hey families!

This week, we got out the pencil sharpener – not just to sharpen pencils, but to talk about how God’s people sharpen each other!

We read Proverbs 27:17, which says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” We talked about how friends can help us grow stronger in our faith by encouraging us, challenging us, and pointing us toward Jesus.

Bottom Line: God’s people sharpen each other!

Ask your child: “Who’s a friend that helps you make wise choices? What’s one way you can sharpen someone else this week?”

We’re thankful for a community of kids growing together!

This Week in cKidz

Hi parents! This week in cKidz, we continued our Old Testament all-stars series with the incredible story of Joseph. Kids looked at Genesis 50:19-21 and learned how Joseph chose to do the right thing even when everything around him seemed to be falling apart. We reminded kids that obedience isn’t always easy, but God honors our choices to follow Him, especially in tough moments. Joseph’s story helped us see how God can use even the hardest situations for something good. Ask at home: “Can you tell me about a time you chose to do the right thing even when it was hard?” Grateful to be on this journey with your family! - Chloe Eskew

We’re so excited to introduce our Prayer Mailbox! cKidz can drop their prayer requests in the mailbox, and we will pray over each and every request. We want our kids to know that no prayer is too big, too small, or too silly to bring to God. Let’s teach our kids that God hears them, God loves them, and they can talk to Him about anything!

Hi parents! This week in cKidz we kicked off our new series all about Old Testament all-stars. Kids got to meet Noah, a true Hall of Famer when it comes to faith! We focused on Hebrews 11:7 and talked about how Noah trusted what God said even when it didn’t make sense. Kids learned that following God sometimes means trusting Him even when the situation looks confusing. We encouraged them to look for ways they can believe God’s truth in their everyday lives. Hi parents! This week in cKidz, we talked about erasers – and how Jesus does something way better than erasing pencil marks! In Psalm 51:1-2, we learned that Jesus erases our sins completely when we ask for His forgiveness. He gives us a clean heart and helps us live the way God wants us to. The kids were amazed to hear that no mistake is too big for Jesus to erase! Bottom Line: Jesus erases our sins and enables us to live righteous lives! Ask your child: “What does it feel like to have your sins forgiven? Why do you think it’s important to ask Jesus for a clean heart?” We’re celebrating clean slates and second chances – thank you, Jesus! - Chloe Eskew

Hey parents! This week in cKidz, we pulled out our highlighters and focused on something super important – God’s greatest commandment! In Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus reminds us that the most important thing we can do is love God and love others. That’s something we definitely want our kids to highlight (and live out!) every day at home, school, and everywhere they go. Bottom Line: God’s greatest commandment is that we love God and others! Try this at home: • Ask your child: “Who is someone you can show God’s love to this week?” • Practice saying the Great Commandment together – it’s a great verse to memorize! Thanks for helping your child shine bright!
