Hey families!
This week in cKidz we kicked off our back-to-school series where we’re using school supplies to help kids understand what it means to follow Jesus. First up? Backpacks!
We talked about how life can feel heavy sometimes – just like an overloaded backpack! But we don’t have to carry everything alone. In Galatians 6:2, we learned that when life gets too heavy, we can turn to others for help.
We had great conversations about how God designed us to help and encourage one another.
Ask your child: “What’s something heavy (hard or stressful) you talked about this week? Who’s someone you can help carry a burden for?”
Let’s keep cheering each other on!

This Week in cKidz
Hi parents! We wrapped up our Sink or Swim series this week by focusing on the most important choice we can ever make. We read the story in Mark 5 about the woman who had been sick for many years. She chose to trust Jesus, believing that He could heal her, and He did! Bottom Line: Trusting in Jesus is the most important choice. Kids learned that while we make lots of choices every day, choosing to trust and follow Jesus is the one that matters most. Try this at home: Ask your child, “What does it look like to trust Jesus in your everyday life?” This can open up a really meaningful conversation. Thanks for letting us partner with you in helping your kids grow in faith! - Pastor Toni

This Week in cKidz
Hi parents! This week in cKidz, we kicked off our new series, Sink or Swim, where kids are learning that their choices matter and that God gives us wisdom to swim strong. We looked at the story of King Solomon in 1 Kings 3 and 4. When God gave Solomon the chance to ask for anything, he chose wisdom, and God was pleased with that choice! Bottom Line: God is the one who gives true wisdom. We talked about how wisdom isn’t just being smart – it’s knowing what’s right and choosing it. And the best part? God loves to give us wisdom when we ask. Try this at home: Ask your child, “What’s one situation where you might need God’s wisdom this week?” Then pray together and ask God to help! See you next time! -Toni Camp Children’s Pastor, cKidz
